Tools for the Road

Occasionally, the question arises " what tools should I carry with me ?" My philosophy is to carry whatever tools are necessary to complete whatever repairs are necessary that you would be comfortable doing in some parking lot a long way from home. The parts you might want to carry are those most vulnerable to fail and take more than a day to find on a Sunday afternoon in Moosomin, Saskatchewan.

* As an alternative to the bicycle air pump, some riders have bought very small 12 volt pumps and removed their plastic shells making them much easier to store.
** the large socket and Allen socket will likely be 1/2" drive meaning you should carry an adapter for your 3/8" ratchet
